Company History

SKS PolyTech, LLC (SKS) was created as a subsidiary of International Cellulose Corporation (ICC) in order to spearhead its’ research and development efforts in glass coatings. Today, ICC is the world’s leading developer and manufacturer of cellulose spray-applied thermal insulation and acoustical finishes. Over the last 30 years, ICC has developed many different types of emulsion adhesives to combine with their cellulose insulation. One of the many products that spawned as a result of SKS’s creation was a new high performance, water-based alternative for glass coatings in many different applications and capacities.

Team Background & Expertise

As previously mentioned, SKS was derived from its’ parent company, ICC, which has over 30 years of experience developing emulsion adhesives. SKS is comprised of exceptionally well-rounded individuals with a broad range of educational and occupational experience, specifically in the fields of chemistry and marketing. Our team possess over 45 years experience in research and development as well as product development in a variety of industries. Our lead scientist has over 11 years of experience devoted exclusively to glass coatings.  We combine our unique skill sets and experience to deliver a value added model to customers.
